Calne Lions is a local charity based near our Chippenham office supporting and serving the community for over 50 years. They organise various events and activities to support people in need and promote social welfare.
CGI supports the annual duck race, a fun and family-friendly occasion that attracts many visitors and participants. The duck race involves different categories of decorated ducks, such as business ducks, ducklings, and individual yellow ducks, that compete in a series of races along the river. The event also features craft and community stalls, entertainment, and refreshments.
We returned for a second year in a row to the Calne Lions duck race which took place on 11 May on the River Marden and while we sadly didn’t defend our win of last year, 2 out of our 3 ducks did make it through to the final which was a great result.
