CMS Enterprise System Development (ESD)

CGI Federal is a prime contractor on the Enterprise System Development (ESD) contract, a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ), performance-based contract for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The ESD contract covers systems development and integration, system and application engineering and technical support to improve the automated systems and agency-wide applications of the Health and Human Services Department. Tasks can be cost reimbursable, firm fixed price, time-and-material and labor hour.

The scope of work under the ESD ID/IQ Contract includes the planning, design, development, testing, implementation, operations coordination, and maintenance for CMS’ automated systems and business application software that integrate hardware, software, and communication technologies. Work under the contract also includes: Design Services, Development Services, and Maintenance Services.
