When Governor Mark Warner decided to show his constituents that the Commonwealth of Virginia was serious about reducing costs while preserving programs, he sought CGI's help. The result was the “Virginia Partners in Procurement” project.
Working with Universal, CGI facilitated the company's Web site functionality by building a data transfer mechanism so that insurers can check status of their policies, make payments, request changes and print policies–a big plus for Universal.
