CLAUDE MARCOUX - Senior Vice-President and General Manager, Quebec
A member of CGI since 1983, Claude Marcoux today holds the position of Senior Vice-President and General Manager for the company’s operations in Quebec.
Mr. Marcoux leads more than 4,500 professionals in Quebec who work in systems integration, consulting, payroll services and outsourcing. He is also a member of CGI’s Management Committee.
During his 25-year career with CGI, Mr. Marcoux has worked in all areas of the
company. Prior to being appointed to his current position, he was responsible for the
management of systems integration and consulting services in Quebec as well as for
the management and growth of the Quebec City business unit. Under his leadership,
this business unit experienced annualized growth of 20% from 1996 forward.
Mr. Marcoux has long been active in his community. From 1999 to 2005, he sat on the
board of directors of the Société d’Arthrite du Québec and Forces Avenir. Since 2007,
he has been a member of the board of directors of CIA - Conseillers en
informatisation d’affaires. Over the years he has also participated in many fundraising
campaigns for a variety of charitable organizations. He is currently co-chair of the
fundraising campaign for the Fondation du Cégep Limoilou and a governor of the Fondation de l’Implant cochléaire.
Mr. Marcoux holds a Bachelor of Business Computing degree from Université Laval de Québec in Quebec City.
