Since July 2024, Jalil El Mejjad has been the leader of the Québec City business unit. In charge of business development and service delivery, notably information technology and management consulting services, he is also responsible for the continuous evolution of the CGI agility, change management, and geospatial centres of excellence in Québec City and covers the government, insurance, and financial services sectors.
Prior to this appointment, Jalil worked as Senior Vice-President Consulting Services in charge of the Greater Montreal Global Delivery Centre. During his mandate, he implemented a structure adapted to the new market context to support a profitable growth.
Previously, he led a team offering CGI services to more than 50 clients in the Greater Montreal area in various industries, such as retail, transport, telecommunications, and government. He was also in charge of the business consulting team supporting all Montreal clients.
Jalil holds bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), as well as an MBA from Université Paris Dauphine.
