Santiago is a well-rounded professional and seasoned data scientist with core expertise in Advanced Analytics, Financial Engineering, Forecasting, and Business Intelligence.  Santiago has 19 years of progressive experience in large corporations, including Scotiabank, TD Bank, Equifax, Toyota Financial, Bell Canada, and has lead the Insurance Analytics team for the last 8 years at CGI.   His experience includes the design, development and implementation of successful solutions on both the client and consulting sides to achieve incremental efficiencies and profitability in the credit adjudication and automobile insurance underwriting fields. He is accompanied by a solid post-graduate academic pedigree that started at his alma matter, the University of Idaho, in Economics. Santiago has successfully managed large teams of individuals with very different backgrounds, ranging from customer-facing managers to highly technical professionals.
