CGI Group Inc. (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A), a leading provider of information technology and business process services, today announced that the Wyoming State Auditor’s Office has renewed its enterprise resource planning (ERP) Managed Advantage contract and will transition operation of its system to CGI’s AMS Advantage® cloud, operating in CGI’s secure data center. The contract renewal is valued at US$28.7 million over 5 years.

The Wyoming State Auditor’s Office, which uses CGI’s built-for-government AMS Advantage solution for integrated financial and human resource management, joined the Managed Advantage program in 2002. The program provides secure day-to-day ERP operations management, including application maintenance, technical upgrades, disaster recovery services, and client support. By transitioning to CGI’s AMS Advantage cloud platform, the Wyoming State Auditor’s Office receives expedited provisioning and scaling of infrastructure and application environments while reducing costs.

“It’s a win-win for the Wyoming State Auditor’s Office as we can now leverage CGI’s AMS Advantage cloud and the new contract extension to reinvest in our solution and obtain increased capacity and services bundled at a predictable cost,” said Cynthia Cloud, State Auditor, State of Wyoming. “We’re pleased to continue our longstanding and successful service relationship with CGI and the Managed Advantage program.”

“Moving to the AMS Advantage cloud allows forward-thinking agencies like the Wyoming State Auditor’s Office greater predictability and control of their technology dollars as well as increased focus on their core mission,” said Daniel Keene, Vice-President of CGI’s AMS Advantage program. “We are honored to continue our relationship with the State Auditor’s Office and are pleased that Wyoming continues to acknowledge the importance of a single point of accountability for their ERP system.”
