In October 2017, Marie MacDonald was appointed Senior Vice-President of CGI’s Global Technology Operations, Canada business unit, overseeing the delivery of infrastructure services across the country.
Since joining CGI in 2001, Marie has led numerous delivery and client relationship functions such as leading the Greater Toronto Area business unit and being responsible for 200 infrastructure clients across Canada and the UK.
Prior to joining CGI, Marie led numerous large shared services integration projects in finance, HR and supply chain, and systems integration projects in the areas of customer care, finance, e-commerce, retail and distributed services for companies such as Bell Canada, Bell Sygma, Bell Nexxia and Rogers Communications.
Marie holds a Master of Science degree from American University in Washington, DC and is an active member of the community, sitting on the Scholarship Award Committee for the Children’s Aid Foundation and the Membership Committee for the Toronto Board of Trade. Marie is also a certified personal trainer with the Canadian Fitness Professionals and is an avid participator in fitness activities.
