What does Door James offer?
Door James has a wide range of innovative features for dynamically tracking workspaces and resources and making booking adjustments based on changing requirements.
It consists of a mobile app, which your employees can use to book a workstation from home or on the road, and an online administration panel, which your front desk staff can use to keep track of available workspaces, manage workspace booking requests, and adjust office capacity in response to changing demand.
Real-time workspace views and occupancy data
With the mobile app’s interactive floor plan, employees can see at a glance which workspaces are available, including desks and meeting rooms, and how they are equipped. Different colors indicate the status of each workspace, including occupied, available or reserved. Front-desk staff also can access office list and layout views via the administration panel, enabling them to quickly locate employees and visualize workspace availability. The office list view shows who occupies or has reserved a workspace, while the layout view displays the office layout and workspaces using colors to denote availability.
Office capacity and real estate planning
Office capacity data is updated automatically each day to show each office’s expected future utilization based on historical data. This makes it easier for employees and front-desk staff to identify the best times for booking a desk or room. It also facilitates decision-making in terms of current and future real estate needs, helping you to better assess when to expand or decrease the size of your offices.
Security measures
Door James provides a high-level of security through digital badges, QR codes, and registration kiosks. Employees use digital badges to identity themselves when arriving at an office and check in by scanning a QR code within the Door James mobile app.
Door James also enables employees to organize meetings securely with colleagues and outside visitors. Each attendee receives an email confirming the meeting, with a custom QR code or meeting ID for check-in and other meeting details. Using a tablet kiosk at the front desk, each attendee checks in and checks out. A badge is printed for outside visitors. As each attendee arrives, the meeting host receives an automatic notification.
Issue resolution
A ticket system integrated within the mobile app enables users to report issues with booked workplaces, such as a defective chair, a missing QR code, or a wobbly table.

Door James enhances protection from Covid-19 and compliance with government Covid-19 restrictions through the following:
