Arendal Sound expands global ecommerce operations with Netsuite, CGI and Teamfield
Arendal Sound is a family-owned, prize-winning manufacturer of high-end sound systems based in Arendal in the south of Norway. They have always been a forward-leaning digital company and started B2C online sales as early as 2005. Manager and founder, Jan Ove Lassesen wanted to expand their global marketplace presence and looked for a solution, as well as experienced implementation partners that would fast track the process.
After a comprehensive selection process, they found a solution that matched their vision: NetSuite. The deciding factor for choosing NetSuite were the cloud native features and out-of-the-box ecommerce integrations. IT and technology company, CGI, was selected to lead the implementation in collaboration with Teamfield, a management consultancy company focusing on digital transformation.

Arendal Sound design their products in Norway and manufacture in China. Products are allocated in specific 3PL centers in The Netherlands and USA to pick, pack and ship products within specific geographies. Some products remain in China in specific bonded warehouses ready to be shipped out to meet the demand in Asia.
After going live with NetSuite, Arendal Sound is a fully-fledged platform company. They can now control the entire global operations from a specific Netsuite dashboard. The next step for Arendal Sound is to scale-up significantly by increasing their presence in global marketplaces and expanding manufacturing operations. NetSuite is scalable by design and Arendal Sound now have an ERP system that will support and grow with the company.

Arendal Sound er en familieeid, prisvinnende produsent av avanserte lydsystemer med base i Arendal i Sør-Norge. De har alltid vært et fremoverlent digitalt selskap og startet B2C-nettsalg allerede i 2005. Arendal Sound designer sine produkter i Norge og produserer dem i Kina. Produktene blir formidlet via spesifikke tredjepartslogistikksentre i Nederland og USA der de plukker, pakker og sender produktene videre til bestemte geografiske områder. Noen produkter forblir i Kina i spesifikke obligasjonslagre slik at de er klare for å bli sendt til det asiatiske markedet.
Etter å ha gått live med NetSuite, er Arendal Sound et fullverdig plattformselskap. De kan nå kontrollere hele den globale operasjonen fra et bestemt Netsuite -dashbord. Det neste trinnet for Arendal Sound er å skalere betydelig ved å øke deres tilstedeværelse på globale markedsplasser og utvide produksjonen.
