Tell us about your role at CGI
As a Helpdesk Analyst, my role is to determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers. In other words, I am the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance and I perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
Describe a moment or a day to remember at CGI
I will not forget the way my colleagues pleasantly surprised me on my birthday. They hugged me and sang Happy Birthday to me, which for me was a heart touching surprise that made my day.
Inspire other women wishing to join the IT industry at CGI
I've been drawn to IT since university, when I worked in areas such as retail and telecommunications until I graduated. In my first year of my master's degree, I was offered a job opportunity in the IT industry. If you are willing to keep learning new things every day, then I encourage you to choose the IT field. Hard work pays off! So go for it, girl!
