Fingrid Datahub approaches deployment following successful go-live dress rehearsal
The dress rehearsal exercise of Fingrid Datahub, a centralized information exchange system for the electricity retail market, ended successfully in December 2021. The exercise, performed in close cooperation with industry participants, demonstrated the industry and Datahub’s readiness for roll out on February 21, 2022.
Fingrid and CGI develop Datahub to support new energy communities and more flexible use of solar energy
Together with CGI, Finland’s transmission system operator, Fingrid is developing Datahub, a centralized information exchange system for the Finnish electricity retail market. Datahub will be introduced in February 2022 and will store information related to Finland's 3.8 million electricity use points. Maintained by Fingrid Datahub Oy, the data exchange hub will enable simplified, faster and enhanced efficiency of data exchange.
