Cock leads CGI’s global space business, which employs more than 1,000 professionals in offices across the globe. They deliver mission-critical systems, technical consulting, secure software development and systems integration for space programs involving satellite navigation, satellite communication, Earth observation and satellite control. Cock’s expertise also includes space-data enabled platforms, applications and services. His clients include the European Space Agency, the European Commission, the EU Agency for the Space Programme (GSA), Thales Alenia Space, Airbus, Inmarsat and the U.K. Ministry of Defence. He also has established relationships with NASA, Maxar Technologies and the Canadian Space Agency.
Cock has worked in satellite navigation since 2002 and has led CGI’s space operations in the United Kingdom since 2012. Since 2018, he has been responsible for our global space business.
Cock is an experienced business and program director with a career spent in the aerospace and information-technology sectors. Before joining CGI in 1993, he ran his own IT company and worked for KMPG, a multi-national professional-services network headquartered in the Netherlands.
