Anthony Nicholls - Director - Defence, Space and Intelligence 

The story of CGI goes back 47 years, when our two founders started CGI. The name "CGI" is the French acronym for "Conseillers en gestion et informatique," which means information systems and management consultants. Since then, we’ve grown enormously but our core philosophies, people-focused management framework and values remain unchanged.

CGI has been in Australia for over 20 years however we have only recently expanded our Australian business to include a Space, Defence and Intelligence team.

CGI has made its mark in the USA,UK and Europe with complex systems and network integration that revolutionise deliverability in security and defence. We are a true sub-prime systems integrator. We work tirelessly to advise, build and operate bespoke, technically complex, mission-critical information systems which help our clients keep us all safe and secure.

We believe this overseas experience will allow us to deliver cutting edge Australian capability, using the best Australian products, that are built by an Australian supply chain. Through working with our international colleagues we can offer interoperability, lessons learnt or repeatable solutions that suit  Australia’s needs. Our aim is to increase sovereign delivery capacity in both space and defence through diversification and holistic ecosystem management.
