Tara McGeehan was appointed President of CGI’s UK operations in January 2018. In May 2019, to capitalise on market synergies, the Australia Business Unit was added to the UK Operations, forming the UK and Australia Strategic Business Unit. As President, Tara leads a team of approximately 6,000 professionals and consultants who bring all of CGI’s end-to-end capabilities and industry and technology expertise to clients across these regions.

Mark Aston was appointed Senior Vice President responsible for North, Energy, Utilities and Telecoms in September 2018. In May 2019, to capitalise on market synergies, the Australia Business Unit was added to the UK Operations and Mark now leads the UK North and Australia Business Unit.

Senior Vice President, Consulting Services - Australia

Les is the Senior Vice President Consulting Services (SVPCS) for Australia and local representative for CGI’s UK North and Australia business, this includes responsibility for the end to end performance of two major Australian organisations in Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane. Les has built a high performance and client focussed Australian business, guiding the team through the global pandemic and assisting with strategies to support the success and growth of our Australian clients and members.

As Senior Vice President of CGI UK North and Australia, John is responsible for the end to end performance of our Melbourne, Adelaide, and Hobart offices and is focused on sustainable management of the interests of customers, members, and shareholders. A key part of this role is to provide strategic guidance and direction to the leadership team, drive a strong inclusive team culture, as well as deliver the CGI Dream, "To create an environment in which we enjoy working together and, as owners, contribute to the building a company we can be proud of."
