Sea Cadets are being challenged to design their ideal learning experience and explore innovative learning methods that will help bring to life their Information Systems learning curriculum. Entrants have been asked to leverage technology, creativity, and innovation to make IT topics accessible and exciting for learners aged 12 to 18. After all who is better to understand how to engage young people in STEM than Young People themselves!
CGI is supporting this challenge to ensure Sea Cadets develop knowledge and interest in Information Systems as we see the Cadet’s potential as our architects, problem-solvers, and project managers as well as the creative drive that we will need to continue to innovate in the future.
A winning cadet or team will be chosen from one unit will be chosen from each of the six Sea Cadets Areas in the UK. Each winner being awarded a £1000 digital grant to start to bring their idea to life as well as a VIP trip to their local CGI office to understand more about how information systems are used in the delivery of complex, mission-critical systems.
