Join us at FOSS4G UK 2024 event, taking place on 12 November 2024 at the Engine Shed in Bristol. This annual gathering of geospatial and open-source professionals is a key platform for exchanging ideas and showcasing the latest innovations in geospatial technology.

At CGI, we support and promote the use of open-source products and data in the geospatial domain. A notable example of our work includes our collaboration with the Welsh Government on the DataMapWales platform, which leverages open-source geospatial tools to enhance public services, improve decision-making, and make critical data accessible to all.

In addition, Alison Hopkins from CGI will be presenting on an exciting project using satellite communication technology to provide network coverage on trains operating in remote areas of Scotland. Her talk will explore how this technology can address connectivity challenges in some of the UK's most difficult-to-reach areas.

Our team will also feature a representative from our Early Careers Network, highlighting our ongoing recruitment efforts for graduates keen to build their careers in the fast-evolving geospatial domain. If you’re interested in joining an innovative team, be sure to visit us at the event.
