On 7 September, OSGeo:UK (UK local chapter of Open Source Geospatial Foundation), will be hosting FOSS4G: UK local (free and open source software for geospatial), which is part of the wider FOSS4G annual conference.

FOSS4G:UK local will be a whole day hybrid conference hosted at eight venues across UK and Ireland, providing the opportunity to physically meet up to attend the conference and join all those interested in learning about open-source tools and open data for geospatial. There is also the opportunity to join remotely and stream the sessions if there is no physical location near you.

The day will consist of talks, workshops, and networking as well as two keynote presentations from internationally recognised geospatial experts, followed by local in-person presentations on the applications of open-source technology and new tools.

We are delighted to be sponsoring two of the eight local events in Bristol and Swansea, where we will see attendees from various public, private and NGO organisations, as well as academia.
