Andy has led the Secure Electronic Systems Subsector of over 150 members since October 2020. A CGI member in our Defence business for over 17 years, he initially managed our C4ISR account and over the years progressed to lead the strategy, business development and successful delivery of our Cyber and Electronic Warfare programmes, ranging from advisory to systems integration and managed services. He has served as the Vice President for 2 years, working closely with our senior Ministry of Defence and Partner clients.
In his current role Andy is expanding his domain knowledge and client relationships into the Cyber Security and Electromagnetic Activities arenas and is seeking to find synergies across the client’s digital transformation agenda. His key growth areas are focussing on data analytics, cloud migration and edge processing all under a Secure by Design approach. He has recently picked up responsibility for the leading CGI’s Space, Defence & Intelligence Business Unit’s Technical Leadership Group to ensure CGI can exploit emerging technology to provide leading edge solutions to client challenges.
Prior to joining CGI, Andy had over 9 years’ experience as an Officer in British Army. Commissioned into the Royal Signals he has first hand experience of providing mission-critical information services to the Armed Forces having deployed on operations in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan. He regularly attends a variety of Industry bodies such as AFCEA and TechUK where he seeks to help address issues and challenges across the Defence community.
