Laura joined CGI in 2018 as a Director with expertise in Policing. Laura has 15 years of operational experience working for the Metropolitan Police, the largest force in the UK. She was responsible for leading teams responsible for serious and complex investigation, public protection, safeguarding and the management of sexual and violent offenders.
She has comprehensive knowledge of Criminal Legislation and the Criminal Justice System, and is qualified in PIP Level 2 Investigation and Supervision, risk identification, assessment and management. Laura is passionate about people, keeping them safe, and providing them with an outstanding service in times of crisis.
Through first hand experience Laura has seen the benefits of inter-agency working and information sharing. Laura left policing to join CGI with the intention of being part of the innovation process that will move policing into the 21st century and provide her ex-colleagues with IT systems that enable them to work more efficiently and effectively to protect the people they serve.
