A proud sponsor

The trail included fifty-six super-sized sculptures of much-loved children's TV character, Morph, all shape-shifting their way through central London to form an extraordinary, free public art trail alongside iconic London landmarks.

The exciting trail was run by Whizz-Kidz, the UK’s leading charity for young wheelchair users. Their vision is a society in which every young wheelchair user is mobile, enabled and included. Whizz-Kidz empower young wheelchair users by providing the wheelchairs, equipment, support and confidence-building experiences they need, and by campaigning for a more inclusive society.

As part of Morph's Epic Art Adventure in London, Whizz-Kidz used the art trail to encourage the public, business community and young people to envision what a more inclusive world might look like for young wheelchair users, and what role they might wish to play in making this a reality.

CGI Target Morph head and shoulders

For art

Our Morph, named Morph Target, was designed by Danish artist Signe Tveitan. Her vision was to bring Morph into the digital age.

Signe Tveitan

"I am so happy that my design got chosen and that I got the opportunity to participate in the project! Morph is enveloped in a glow in the dark grid that helps him move through this new virtual space. I work daily with 3D models so I wanted to find a way to integrate that into the design. 'Morph target' is a CG term used to describe an altered version of a shape that is used to drive the animation.”  - Signe Tveitan, Artist.
