CGI (TSX: GIB.A) (NYSE: GIB) today announces that Taylor Wimpey, one of the leading residential developers in the UK, has expanded its long-term relationship with CGI by signing a five year managed services contract renewal worth £22 million. The renewal will allow Taylor Wimpey to achieve significant service efficiencies and service improvements, while supporting IT modernisation and business change.
Under the terms of the new contract, CGI will provide Service Delivery and Technology Managed Services in key areas such as service desk support, end user computing, unified communications, applications management and enterprise services management. Taylor Wimpey will also leverage CGI’s technology capabilities and expertise to drive transformation in areas such as Customer Experience Management (CEM) and future cloud strategy.
These initiatives will be managed via an enhanced Governance and Relationship Management model, which is specifically designed to drive broader executive engagement and ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business objectives.
