CGI will join Northumbrian Water Group once again at the company’s Innovation Festival, which will take place entirely digitally, between 14-17 September 2020. This year, which marks the fourth consecutive year of CGI sponsorship, our design sprint will focus on the theme of net zero, with the title:
‘Save the World - How can emerging technologies and innovative use of data accelerate the North East’s journey towards net zero?’
The CGI-led design sprint will explore how we can collaborate across communities to harness emerging technologies and use data more innovatively to accelerate our journey towards a carbon neutral society, particularly in the North East.
CGI’s Mark Thompson, Director of Consulting Services in the North East Metro Market, said:
“We are really proud to be supporting the innovation festival yet again this year with a really important subject, not only for the North East but also the world.
This year, the innovation festival is going digital and we will support the sprint around the clock together with our colleagues down under in Australia.
We are also excited to be collaborating with three other organisations operating in the North East - Newcastle City Council, ENGIE and WordNerds - all of whom, like CGI, have net zero objectives.”

We look forward to seeing you online from 14 to 17 September to experience 4 days of action-packed fun. |
Take part in our Survey and help us to prepare for the festival by understanding your views on climate change, carbon neutral targets, and the net zero agenda. The results of the survey will help CGI to determine some of the net zero challenges facing organisations, to inform the proceedings of our design sprint as well as shape our net zero propositions and any future partnership and sales opportunities in this area. The questions should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. |
