Alan is a Director within CGI’s UK Space Defence and Intelligence practice and is responsible for leading the development, expansion, and delivery of Crypt-Key (CK) services within the UK. He has a track record of developing and delivering complex secure telecommunications, cryptography and MILSATCOM, systems for Defence sector customers for over 20 years.
Alan has worked with CGI since 2022, particularly leading in customer-facing roles in the areas of CK, IT Consulting, and System Integration. Prior to joining CGI, Alan worked in Airbus Defence and Space Ltd for 15 years within Secure Communications, the world leading provider of mission critical communication services and solutions to Governmental and Military customers. Prior to joining Industry, Alan had a varied and Successful career in the British Army within the Royal Corps of Signals. During his 16 years in the military, he worked with a number of units, including NATO seeing active service in Bosnia, Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Alan has a keen interest in supporting the UK CK enterprise digital transformation in particular ways of working, digital architectures and development of CK Digital services, with a belief that this will be key to securing the UK Mission critical systems.
