What is the NCKC?

Recognising the need to modernise outdated practices, extensive research efforts were undertaken to enhance Crypt-Key systems. As it stands, the results suggest a quantum leap from traditional, paper-based methodologies to cutting-edge digital solutions, equipped to meet the sophisticated demands of both national and international partners.
November 2020 marked a significant milestone in this journey, as the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) unveiled the new and improved NCKC. This state-of-the-art facility symbolises a renewed commitment to providing organisations with targeted support to address their Crypt-Key challenges effectively.
Deputy Director of the National Crypt-Key Centre, emphasises the critical role of Crypt-Key technology in safeguarding sensitive operations and information. He affirms
"Through the use of Crypt-Key, we can ensure that the government is doing the right thing in protecting its sensitive operations and information and we can make sure we manage the risk of interference from hostile states".
With a team of dedicated experts leading the charge, the UK remains at the forefront of technological innovation. He asserts proudly.
