CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) has been selected by the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) following an open tender to develop a new Intelligence Requirements Management and Collection Management software application. The solution will help enable the client’s vision of a single all-domain Intelligence Mission Management System that is fully integrated across the UK Defence Intelligence Enterprise and with key allies.
The new system will improve the mechanisms for requesting, managing and processing intelligence requirements through the use of automation and machine learning. This will enhance the engagement of end-users in the intelligence cycle, streamline the workflow for requirements and collections staff, and improve the timely provision of information to those that need it.
Si Read, Vice President for UK & Australia Secure Advisory Services at CGI said:
“We’re delighted to be delivering this critical software development project for the UK MOD. The solution will help accelerate the digital transformation of defence intelligence and unlock significant improvements, including more efficient ways of working and accelerated response times to key client intelligence needs.”
CGI has been delivering technically complex and mission-critical secure information systems to the UK Ministry of Defence for over 40 years
