Benoit Dubé joined CGI in 2003 as Vice-President, Corporate Legal Affairs and now holds the position of Executive Vice-President, Legal and Economic Affairs, and Corporate Secretary. He leads CGI’s legal team located in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific, and is a member of CGI’s Executive Committee.
Benoit is responsible for areas such as contractual risk management, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, litigation, economic affairs, as well as the company’s data privacy program.
Previously, he led the legal department of Cognicase Inc., a publicly traded company that was acquired by CGI in 2003. He was also an associate at one of Canada’s leading law firms and acted as legal counsel for a major telecommunications company and the Canadian Bankers Association.
Benoit holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Bachelor of Laws from McGill University, a Master of Business Administration from The University of Western Ontario (Richard Ivey School of Business) and a Certificate in International Business from the Stockholm School of Economics.
