In October 2024, Dirk de Groot was appointed President for CGI’s operations in Scandinavia, Northwest and Central-East Europe. He leads a multinational team of approximately 8,000 professionals and consultants who bring the best of CGI to clients across seven European countries, including Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Dirk has more than 20 years of experience in the IT services industry. He joined CGI in 2012 through its merger with Logica and most recently served as the President for CGI’s Northwest and Central-East Europe operations.
Dirk is well regarded as a transformational leader within CGI and the industry. In 2021, Dirk received a CGI Builders Award for his contribution to the growth and success of the company.
He holds a degree in Logistics and Technical Transport Engineering and is also member of the Supervisory Board of Lely, member of the Board of NL Digital, member of the Board of Digicampus and co-founded DiTTLab.
