A 30+ year veteran of CGI, Senior Vice-President Pierre-Dominique Martin is responsible for the company’ global business and strategic IT consulting services. In this role, he partners with CGI’s global operations leaders to drive forward CGI’s consulting services model and offerings portfolio, as well as to raise CGI’s consulting profile among clients and talent. He also is responsible for establishing CGI’s strategic direction and positioning in this space, developing its go-to-market capabilities, and supporting business development and client engagements across the world.
Pierre-Dominique has deep experience leading consulting teams, creating new offerings and developing high-performing teams. He was appointed to this role in 2023 after leading CGI’s business consulting activities in France from 2018 to 2022. In his role, Pierre-Dominique also managed the integration of two business consulting firms, Harwell Management and Neonn, expanding CGI’s capabilities both in France and around the globe.
From 2012 to 2018, Pierre-Dominique was responsible for CGI’s transportation, public sector, energy and utilities, and HR business units within the Paris, France metro market, overseeing 800 members. Prior to this, he established a management consulting team for CGI in 2003 dedicated to IT sourcing and governance, and authored a book published by Dunod on governance principles, including a co-management approach for improving the client-supplier relationship.
Prior to 2003, Pierre-Dominique launched CGI’s SAP consulting entity in France, notably as part of CGI’s joint venture with Coopers & Lybrand, where he led international programs.
Pierre-Dominique earned an engineering degree from ParisTech. He also received certifications in service management from Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and as a certified SAP consultant.
