CGI has won a contract with ADEME, France’s Agency for Ecological Transition, to fast-track the digitization of its partner relationships by implementing Salesforce’s CRM solution for its 900 employees. This contract is for a period of six years.
ADEME wants to provide improved support to its many partners, including individuals, companies, local authorities and associations, as well as to centralize and optimize employee tasks. The Agency therefore began a vast transformation and digital acceleration plan in 2018.
“CGI takes great pride in having supported ADEME in its transformation for over 10 years. With this new tool, the Agency’s teams will be able to focus on their stakeholder relationships at a time when ecological transition is at the forefront of public policy. Our teams are fully committed to making the ADEME transformation a success,” said Thierry Vandenbroucke, Vice President for CGI’s Centre Ouest Region in France.
The project to implement a customer relationship management (CRM) solution is part of a new three-pronged strategy to:
- Effectively support partners in their ecological transition journeys
- Offer an internal global vision of the ADEME approach that benefits each business
- Encourage the collaboration of businesses and teams in partner-oriented actions
ADEME has selected the proposal of CGI and its partners—Salesforce and SCC—to set up its CRM. CGI will be responsible for deploying the Salesforce CRM solution and its integrated Marketing Cloud module, as well as integrating data into the Agency’s information system. CGI will also provide change support services to maximize internal adoption of this new tool. All services will be delivered by CGI’s Nantes office and via the company’s Digital Innovation Centre, an expert in CRM solutions, with teams located in Montpellier, Rennes and Toulouse.
"The digital transformation of our information systems is essential for us to support our partners in their long-term ecological transition. We are building an agile partnership with CGI that takes our needs into account. CGI’s recognized expertise in the chosen solution and large-scale integration projects will be a key factor in the success of this project,” said Katia Lefeuvre, Executive Director of Ecological Transition Mobilization at ADEME.
Ultimately, ADEME will be able to benefit from an intuitive solution adapted to its reality, enabling its 900 employees to:
- Benefit from a 360° vision of all Agency partners and better respond to their requests
- Increase efficiency in information sharing, file management and tracking project management tools
- Optimize communication and email campaigns
