Ottawa, Ontario, March 5, 2007

CGI Group Inc. (CGI) (TSX: GIB.A; NYSE: GIB) and its joint venture partner IT/Net, were awarded by Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) a 2 year, $9.7 million dollar contract to provide system integration support services to PWGSC's Financial Systems Transformation (FST) project. "We are very pleased to be part of PWGSC's FST Project Team. As a certified SAP Hosting and Alliance Partner, CGI will be leveraging its local SAP expertise as well as its global SAP center of expertise to bring PWGSC a committed and seasoned SAP-centric operational and technology management group with extensive capabilities," said Hicham Adra, CGI's Senior Vice-President and General Manager, National Capital Region and Western Canada.
