The secure inter-network architecture (SINA) is a high-security solution developed by secunet AG on behalf of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). SINA has been used successfully by government authorities and armed forces in several countries for many years, including over 300,000 systems installed in Germany.
Processing, storing and exchanging classified information via SINA previously required organizations to have appropriately trained resources and a SINA infrastructure. With our comprehensive SINA Managed Service developed in cooperation with secunet, governments and businesses can securely process their classified information with SINA, even if they lack the necessary internal administrative and operational resources.
Secunet and CGI developed this joint offering to fulfill a wide range of security requirements, up to the high classification level GEHEIM (SECRET).

We tailor our flexible SINA Managed Service offering to our clients’ specific requirements. Our services range from configuration and integration of SINA components into an organization’s existing networks, to the complete operation of the entire system. We build and secure a highly available SINA backend as well as frontend operations. In addition, we are responsible for reporting and offer 24/7 worldwide support, if required, and on-site support at the client’s premises.
SINA Managed Service also includes the provision, administration and compliant* operations of SINA end devices. All SINA end devices offer parallel access to several security domains, so that information from different domains can be processed in compliance with the rules on a single piece of hardware. In addition, we provide our clients with an optional mobile solution to ensure connectivity regardless of location.
