Torsten recently retired from CGI as Executive Vice-President and Chief Business Engineering Officer, supporting CGI teams worldwide with the design and implementation of managed IT and business process services that enable clients to invest in innovation while achieving significant efficiency gains. He brought to this role a deep understanding of how technology helps clients across commercial and government industries transform their operations.
Prior to this role, Torsten led CGI operations across Europe. He served as President of CGI’s Scandinavia and Central Europe operations from 2022-2024, and as President of CGI’s Central and Eastern Europe operations from 2018-2022. Across these roles, he built a considerable track record of growing successful businesses, delivering CGI’s full end-to-end services value proposition.
In 2017, Torsten was recognized as a CGI Builder for his contributions to building CGI and in recognition of his ability to meet and exceed the expectations of our stakeholders—clients, CGI Partners and shareholders. Torsten holds a computing engineering degree from Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University.
