Jonas Forsman has more than 20 years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and implementing advanced technology solutions across industries using artificial intelligence, big data, data analytics, and business intelligence. He also has significant experience in research and innovation project management both within and outside of CGI.
Jonas has served as an innovation coach for CGI’s Global Innovations program and a lead innovator for cutting-edge client projects. Currently, he is an external advisor for the Solar Energy Research Centre (SOLVE). led by Uppsala University includes multiple universities and more than 50 organizations. CGI helps SOLVE researchers use AI for rapid solar energy expansion in the Swedish grid and together recently co-published a paper. Jonas also was an external advisor for the AI-4Energy smart grid research project at Karlstad University in Sweden, which explored how AI, machine learning and cloud and edge computing transform renewable energy systems.
