José Brás is a CGI consulting director in Portugal, specializing in business continuity, governance, risk, and compliance. His research interests include the intersection between business continuity, business process management, business process automation, and intelligent process automation. He also focuses on the impact of robotic and intelligence process automation within the business continuity management life cycle.
In working with clients, José delivers in-depth experience in developing business continuity strategies and driving business process transformation, with broad expertise in the latest technologies, regulatory mandates, and market demands.
José is a research assistant professor at two major universities in Lisbon, Portugal, as well as a Ph.D. student in information science at technology. He holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology management and a master’s degree in software engineering.
