Magali has been passionate about logistics and goods movement for over 20 years. Her journey began in Montpellier, France, where she worked with CNRS on the accessibility of European cities, analyzing over 70 ports and airports. She earned her PhD in Geography, Logistics, and Freight Transport in Montreal, focusing on Canadian airspace competitiveness and contributing to projects for Transport Canada.
Magali has worked on significant initiatives like the St-Lawrence - Great Lakes Trade Corridor and the Northern Plan's multimodal terminal, later leading strategies including economic development and air cargo fluidity. Her achievements include establishing an intermodal logistics information system and extending Montreal Port Authority terminal hours.
In 2021, she joined CGI, where she leads innovative projects like a data-sharing platform for the shipping ecosystem. Recognized for her expertise, Magali advises industry professionals across North America and Europe and actively participates in logistics associations such as CILTA and InnovLog.
