Rita Burnay serves as a consulting expert in CGI’s Portugal operations, focused on business development activities for CGI’s Renewables Management System (RMS) industry solution across Europe.
Rita has over a decade of experience in the renewables energy industry, helping operators and developers address day-to-day challenges and enhance operational and performance efficiency. She supports the complete life cycle of client engagements, from proposal and contract creation to collaborating with the project management team for successful execution.
Rita has worked in the energy and utilities sector for nearly 20 years, half of which she has spent supporting market liberalization solutions for Europe’s electricity transmission markets. She has managed several large-scale implementation projects, including the supply of SCADA and performance management systems for centralized monitoring and control of wind energy assets, across several geographies with different regulatory frameworks.
Rita has a degree in Applied Mathematics and Computing from Lisbon’s IST university.
