With over 25 years of experience in technology, IT services marketing and strategic sourcing, Willem Jan works with clients to enhance their IT and digital services portfolios. He focuses on enabling clients’ transformation using data and AI-driven automation, supported by CGI’s expertise and best practices to increase business agility and innovation, and deliver ROI-led outcomes.
In his previous role as Director of Marketing in CGI’s Netherlands operations, Willem Jan led a team overseeing all aspects of industry marketing and demand generation. He has also held several product and portfolio management positions within CGI, supporting financial services, manufacturing and retail clients.
Willem Jan began his career with CMG (acquired by CGI in 2012), where he provided software engineering and quality improvement consultancy to a number of large banking and insurance organizations in the Netherlands. Throughout his career, Willem Jan has worked closely with many clients, technology and media partners, as well as third-party sourcing advisors and industry analysts, driving performance and profitability through IT. He holds a degree in Technical Computer Science from The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
