Dave Delgado serves as Senior Vice President of CGI’s U.S. West business unit. With more than 25 years of information technology consulting experience, Dave specializes in strategic planning, sourcing, governance, organizational and operational assessment, ERP project oversight and IT benchmarking. He is also an expert in IT sales, marketing and business development for commercial and government enterprises.
Dave joined CGI in 2004 and assumed responsibility for rebuilding and expanding CGI’s Los Angeles County strategic account. He moved from account manager to vice president, and also worked to grow CGI’s state and local government business throughout the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area.
In 2007, Dave was appointed to lead CGI’s U.S. West Public Sector, overseeing state and local government activities in 13 western states. Three years later, he was appointed client executive of a strategic account portfolio overseeing clients and prospects in southern California, Texas and Hawaii. In 2011, he was named leader of CGI’s entire U.S. West business unit.
Prior to joining CGI, Dave served as Vice President and Team Leader at Gartner Consulting focused on IT consulting services to state and local government clients. He was also Vice President of Professional Services at VISTA Information Technologies and Johnson Controls, Inc., as well as a Principal at JWP Network Integration Services.
Dave received a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in business administration from Chapman University. He also earned an Executive Management Certificate from the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University.
