In this interview* with Business Reporter, Helena Jochberger, Global Lead for Manufacturing at CGI, talks about how manufacturing has reached an inflection point, where manufacturers can meet today’s sustainability and supply chain challenges by holistically transforming their technology stack, processes and mindset.

Although meeting ESG requirements can be regarded as a compliance exercise, she says, this is just a starting point. Manufacturing leaders are future-proofing themselves by embedding sustainability practices not just within their operations but also across their suppliers and wider ecosystems. In doing so, they advance their transformation programs and can make the shift to circularity.

She shares CGI’s Unified Manufacturing approach that aims to unify manufacturers within their plants, and across their value chains and ecosystems to become more adaptive and responsive to stakeholder demands and advance their climate goals.
