Digital transformation isn’t just about technology, it’s about organizational agility where culture is a key determinant of success. Building an organizational culture for a successful adoption of digital technologies requires everyone in the organization, from the C-suite to front-line employees, to be prepared to work in a more trusting, collaborative, agile and transparent way. It’s hard for an organization to undergo digital transformation if the culture is one built around functional and departmental silos, a fear of taking risks, and difficulty forming and acting on a single view of the customer.
When federal government agencies move from focus on stability and control to a focus on innovation and agility, change becomes an exciting opportunity. Using leading organizational design principles and a thorough methodology, CGI works with clients to build agile organizations that turn change into strategic advantage and growth.
Our change approach
CGI’s organizational change management (OCM) approach is a collaborative and structured but agile process that effectively manages the human side of change. By accelerating adoption, increasing overall engagement, and improving the benefit each and every employee realizes from a change, OCM accelerates your program’s outcomes.
Our methodology provides a roadmap of OCM related activities to plan, engage, enable, and assess the effectiveness of OCM during the life of a project. Additionally, the tools included in the methodology can complement a client’s established change management approach, if one exists, and/or the five components of Prosci’s ADKAR model. The ADKAR model highlights the milestones an individual must achieve for a change to be successful: awareness, desire, knowledge, ability and reinforcement.
