Dan Morris is a Business Development Director in the Army and Other Defense Agency Sector, with emphasis on Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) at CGI Federal, a wholly-owned U.S. operating subsidiary of CGI, Inc.
Dan is a retired Army colonel and business consultant with extensive leadership and over 30 years of experience specializing in Department of Defense operations. He obtained Army Operations experience as a Military Intelligence and Infantry Officer. As the 1st Armored Division G2 in combat, he directed global Military Intelligence operations involving strategic communications, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance operations, cyber and data management systems.
He is an expert in military capability requirements and ground to space systems integration. He has served as a strategic advisor to the ODNI Chief Information Officer, the Army Chief of Staff and the Army Futures Command Commanding General. His experiences also include Agile management, database management and systems integration.
