Molly O’Neill supports strategy, capture and thought leadership on key CGI Federal opportunities. A former assistant administrator for the Office of Environmental Information and Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, she oversaw policies and regulations associated with the Toxic Release Inventory program, as well as all technology related policies, standards and guidance.
As EPA CIO, she was responsible for the agency’s information technology infrastructure, data collection and exchange, enterprise architecture and information security and privacy programs. She also served as an Executive Committee member of the Federal CIO Council.
During her federal service, she received the 2008 Government Computer News Government IT Executive of the Year Award and the prestigious 2009 Federal Computer Week Federal 100 Eagle award for work at EPA and across the federal government.
Since 2009, she has served as an elected Fellow at the National Academy of Public Administration. She is a frequent speaker at technology and environmental venues, and has testified before Congress multiple times.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech University.
