Virginia Williams serves as Senior Vice-President of operations for CGI’s U.S. Northwest business unit. She leads the strategy and growth for clients in the government and commercial sectors, covering Alaska, California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. Virginia has broad experience managing large P&Ls, business development, delivery, and organizational strategy. In addition, she is a member of the CGI U.S. operations executive team and reports directly to the CGI U.S. President.
Before joining CGI in 2015, Virginia was an executive at IBM. During her tenure at IBM, Virginia held several leadership positions in Sales and Marketing, Software Group, Business Consulting and Outsourcing Services. She has experience in leading large-scale, complex projects and business and technology initiatives for government and commercial organizations that delivered desired client outcomes. Virginia is well known for her ability to build high-performance teams focused on clients’ success.
Virginia earned a double major in Business Administration and English Literature with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame de Namur. As the CGI Executive Sponsor of the Disability and Neurodiversity Advocates (DNA) Member Resource Group (MRG), Virginia is a tireless advocate for those challenged with “silent” disabilities longing to be included. She also serves on the board and is the committee chair of scholarships for the Foster Youth Education Fund (FYEF) charity.
