At CGI, our proximity model helps us build strong connections within our local communities, enabling us to better understand their needs and improve the outcomes of their initiatives. In several instances, we leverage our expertise and solutions developed for our clients to support our communities’ advocacies.
Below are some of the projects implemented across the world to help our local partners enhance their communication channels and strategies.
France: Femmes@Numérique and Orchestre à l’école
Since 2018, we have been a founding sponsor of Femmes@Numérique (Women@Digital), an organization committed to promoting women’s representation in France’s IT industry.
As their digital partner, we strengthened our collaboration with Femmes@Numérique in 2024 by redesigning their website to improve their ability to raise awareness, attract donations and foster new partnerships. The website supports the organization’s mission of inspiring girls in France to pursue careers in IT, a field where women are historically underrepresented.
Through our collaboration, Femmes@Numérique can continue educating thousands of individuals and reducing the gender gap in the tech industry.
We also partnered with Orchestre à l’école (Orchestra at school), an organization that fosters children’s development through music. CGI Partners provided expertise to enhance their website’s performance using Google Analytics 4, which allows the organization to understand user behavior and identify opportunities for improvement.
Through our support, Orchestre à l’école can independently track website data and optimize their digital presence, ensuring a better user experience for site visitors.
Philippines: Solar Hope
In the Philippines, we worked with Solar Hope, an organization that brings solar power to communities without electricity.
We helped redesign and update their website to increase visibility and inspire others to support their mission. Solar Hope relies on volunteers, many of whom have day jobs, making ongoing website updates a challenge. Our expertise has enabled them to manage their digital presence better and continue their efforts without additional resources.
In addition to this project, we have provided solar panels and internet capabilities to Solar Hope’s partner communities. These contributions have been vital, particularly for areas impacted by natural disasters, empowering rural areas in the Philippines with the tools they need to thrive.
U.S.: The Women’s Center
In the U.S., we collaborated with The Women’s Center (TWC), a nonprofit therapy center that offers mental health counseling, support, and education to people in need.
We helped TWC develop a comprehensive and cost-efficient internal communications plan to enhance internal engagement and celebrate the organization’s core values.
Our efforts included creating a content calendar, monthly newsletter template, messaging platform, and employee activation plan framework that identifies key audiences, channel recommendations and proposed success metrics, as well as strategies for two-way communication between TWC professionals and leadership.
Our contributions aim to support TWC’s mission of enhancing their ability to serve their partner communities.
Through such efforts, we help organizations increase their reach, engage their communities, and ultimately achieve positive social outcomes. Combining our expertise and resources, we remain dedicated to building a more inclusive and sustainable future for all.
