Assia Stoyanova is a strategic culture and change management expert with over 25 years of experience in human-centered business transformation and culture and change management across industries, including energy and utilities, manufacturing, financial services, healthcare and life sciences, state and local government, insurance and telecommunications.
As a founding member of CGI’s culture and change management practice, Assia has co-authored and executed repeatable processes and methodologies to successfully assist large enterprises in navigating organic and inorganic change to realize quantifiable results. As lead practitioner, she focuses on change management, including stakeholder adoption and behavior, culture, communications, learning, organizational design, team development, knowledge management and collaboration, and change program governance. Her client advisory experience spanning various geographies and industries enables her to distill culture and change characteristics and strategies that transcend verticals and locations and focus on common human psychological traits.
In addition to change management, Assia has significant experience in business process analysis and re-engineering, strategy roadmap and business case development, governance and PMO.
Assia holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Masters in Computer Technologies. She is certified with Human Synergistics® Organizational Culture Inventory (OCI), Human Synergistics® Organizational Effectiveness Inventory (OEI), and Prosci® Change Management. She has also attended specialized training in principled negotiations, executive communications, team performance, dispute resolution, covert organizational processes, and behavioral modeling.
