Marcel Sommeling has more than 30 years of experience in the information technology services industry. He has a track record of developing relationships with large companies across the financial services industry and specializes in IT-outsourcing, IT-offshoring, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and business process outsourcing (BPO) for finance and human resources (HR).
Marcel is experienced in building and managing high performance teams, especially in large, developed environments and in turnaround situations. His experience spans a range of industries, including banking, insurance, manufacturing, retail and logistics, government, and telecoms. Currently, Marcel is responsible for life and pensions insurance at CGI Netherlands.
