He began his career as a project manager before moving into a managing role. Bringing 30 years of experience in the media, broadcast and newsroom industries, he works closely with German and international clients to develop customized solutions for their unique challenges.
CGI OpenMedia, under Michael’s direction, is a centralized exchange and coordination platform that manages the complete journalistic workflow, including innovative research, story-centric planning, scripting, multi-platform output and rundown management. This is useful for optimizing large and medium-sized broadcaster’s news productions. Michael is working with his team to make CGI OpenMedia even more flexible and scalable with the help of cloud technology. He’s also working to bring AI-powered solutions to his clients, journalists and readers.
