Fingrid Datahub is a centralized information system for the Finnish retail electricity market, storing data about 3.8 million electricity accounting points.
In this video, Fingrid Datahub CEO Pasi Aho describes Datahub’s successful go-live in February 2022 as a big bang change event for the sector, and a success story based on excellent collaboration between Fingrid, CGI and all market parties and their vendors.
Datahub ensures that the master data related to electricity consumption is stored in a single system. The information is used by approximately 80 electricity suppliers, 80 distribution system operators and a growing number of service providers. Key benefits: more rapidly available data to improve customer service, data exchanged more reliably and securely, and development of new applications for consumers. Datahub is powered by CGI’s Central Market Solutions.
