Dave Henderson serves as President for CGI’s U.S. commercial and state government operations, which delivers a broad range of technology and business services to clients. Mr. Henderson leads the strategy and growth of this U.S. business portfolio which plays a prominent role in CGI’s global position across several industries including financial services, energy, utilities, health, communications and state and local government.
With a 33-year career helping clients in their transformation to secure, customer-centric digital enterprises, Mr. Henderson today leads the talents of a 6,000+ member workforce in the U.S. He has a passion for helping clients leverage IT to create a more flexible, secure, cost-efficient environment to enable their businesses. Mr. Henderson formerly led one of CGI’s largest business units, U.S. Central-South (USCS). Prior roles at CGI include leading the USCS commercial sector and business engineering.
Mr. Henderson joined CGI in 2006 after four years building North American consulting practices for a global IT services firm. In prior years, he was a consulting practice leader at American Management Systems in the company’s telecom and utilities industry groups, focusing on customer care, provisioning, enterprise architecture, service-oriented architecture and enterprise application integration. He spent the early part of his career at EDS, leading delivery teams across multiple industries in the U.S.
Mr. Henderson graduated from Oklahoma State University with Bachelor of Science degree in Computing and Information Sciences. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Washington Catalogue for Philanthropy.
